Guana Island Resort This 850-acre island in the British Virgin Islands is one of the most private hideaways in the Caribbean. Its only occupant is the 30-guest resort whose whitewashed stone cottages nestle along a scenic ridge offering magnificent views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean. White Bay Beach is the powder-white stretch of sand that most guests use every day. Since they never number more than 30, its hard to imagine anyone thinking it crowded.
