Grand Hotel Parkers *****
|
Grand Hotel Parkers[/b] occupies one of Naples most privileged positions, overlooking the Gulf of Naples and near the fashionable shopping district. The hotel was built in 1874, and it soon became a Mecca for wealthy foreign visitors. In 1889 an Englishman George Parker Bidder purchased the hotel and gave it its current name. The building was remodelled to meet all the standards of modern luxury, while maintaining the original Art Nouveau facade and elegant interiors. Rooms facing the Gulf of Naples offer stunning views of the city, the sparkling bay and Mount Vesuvius. George’s, the hotel restaurant, is one of Naples most celebrated restaurants. The large collection of rare books in the library and full service health centre are available to all guests.
